  • Today is the last day to claim any lost items! The Main Office has several unclaimed cell phones, jewelry items and glasses. Please come by to describe them and claim. Unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the day today.
  • All NEW National English Honor Society Members need to pick up the dues form in room 303 by Friday.
  • Senior Outing permission forms can be found outside Mrs. Fanelli’s room (225). All forms are due by Friday, May 10, 2019.
  • Attention Seniors: Each year the English Department holds a contest to select a senior to serve as the class essayist and to read an original essay during graduation. Seniors are encouraged to write and submit an essay of approximately 400-500 words. Responses will be read and evaluated by a committee comprised of English teachers and students, and the contest winner will be announced by May 13th and recognized at the AM awards on May 21st. Packets are available in the Main Office, the house offices and in room 319. Essays are due no later than Monday May 6th at noon. Your essay must be shared as a Google Doc with Mr. Alaimo (balaimo@npsct.org)

  • Attention any student attending Junior Prom: If you choose to leave school early on Friday, you may do so AFTER period 5. In order to be dismissed, you must bring in a note from your parent or guardian PRIOR to Friday and submit the note to YOUR house office.

    There will be a mandatory meeting during advisory (9:04 am) tomorrow, May 1st in the cafeteria to learn about earning college credit from UCONN upon successful completion of one or more of the classes above. The program is known as Early College Experience (ECE)

  • Tunxis and Manchester Community College will be here tomorrow from 9 am to 12 pm. Seniors who are planning to attend either school should attend. The representatives will assist you in your college application and admit you on site! Please sign up in the Main School Counseling Office today.

  • Art Club Members: We will be meeting after school today. See you then.

  • The Final meeting of the NHS Book Club will be held tomorrow in the NHS Library after school. Please bring your copy of Female of the Species to hand in at the end of our discussion. As always, all students are welcome.

  • Come ready to debate Universal Healthcare today after school in Mr. Kravontka’s room! This will be the last big debate. Everyone is welcome.
  • Sign up for the Blood Drive tomorrow with a National Honor Society student or Ms. Fanelli. You must be 17 years or older to donate.
  • The library needs volunteers for the upcoming spring book sale, April 25th through April 28th. Please sign up to help in room 200A. Several different shifts are available.

  • There will be a field trip to the State Capitol for students interested in manufacturing and engineering on Wednesday, April 24th from 9 am – 1 pm to connect students to careers in manufacturing. Local manufacturing companies will be present to showcase their products and also speak with students about careers, apprenticeships and internships. If you are interested in attending, please see Ms. Arnett or Mrs. Ennis in 200A.
