  • The NHS Unicef chapter will be collecting coins to support Unicef’s efforts to help children worldwide. If you’d like to donate your change, please bring it in a bag, labeled with your name on it. You will have a chance to win some Unicef merchandise and candy! Bring your coins to the main office or room 336.
  • College representatives from three colleges will be here today. Lasell College will be here during period 2, Cedar Crest College during period 6, and College of the Holy Cross during period 8. Juniors and Seniors interested in meeting with a college representative can sign up via Naviance.
  • Winter Sports preseason meetings for today:
    o Track at 3:30 pm in the Library
    o Swimming at 3:30 pm on the Pool Deck

Over 90 local aerospace firms will be available to discuss the career opportunities that exist in the industry as well as employer expectations. Please see Mrs. Ennis is 200A to sign up.

Friday, October 19th, we are having a pink out day to show our support in the fight on breast cancer. The trading post will be selling short sleeve t-shirts for $10.00 and long sleeves for $15.00 A dollar from each purchase will be donated to Cancer Awareness Research. So get your before they sell out. “Show you care, be aware!!!”

  • Students interested in aerospace and engineering, the Aerospace Components Manufacturers will be holding its annual Future Workforce Opportunities Fair on Wednesday, November 7th from 8:00 am – 11:00 am. Over 90 local aerospace firms will be available to discuss the career opportunities that exist in the industry as well as employer expectations. Please see Mrs. Ennis is 200A to sign up.

• Attention all Juniors, Seniors and Faculty. Tomorrow Morning, October 16th is our Annual College Fair. Please remember – ALL Juniors will be attending during Period 1 and ALL Seniors will attend during period 2, We look forward to a very productive College Fair.
• Due to the College Fair tomorrow breakfast will only be available for purchase before school only. Please enter through the door across from the gym entrance. Room 115 will be open for you to eat in.
• Wednesday, October 17th, will be a mandatory meeting for all members of National English Honor Society at 2:30 in the lower library.
• Congratulations to the NHS Math team for finishing in First Place at the October competition.  Way to go!!!
• Breast cancer is the 2nd leading cause of death among women, every 19 seconds someone in the world is diagnosed with breast cancer. Friday, October 19th, we are having a pink out day to show our support in the fight on breast cancer. The trading post will be selling short sleeve t-shirs for $10.00 and long sleeves for $15.00 A dollar from each purchase will be donated to Cancer Awareness Research. So get your before they sell out. “Show you care, be aware!!!”
