  • There will be a mandatory Boy’s Golf Team meeting tomorrow after school in room 300. See Coach Barbarotta if you cannot make it.
  • The Scribe is looking for submissions of art work, poetry, short stories, chapters and photography. If you are interested in contributing, please see a member of the staff or Mr. Rutigliano in room 305 by tomorrow.
  • AP Registration is open. Please come to main school counseling before February 8th to register. Friday, February 8th is the last day for your deposit payment. After that, you will have to pay in full for AP Exams.
  • To All Students & Staff: On February 16th, we will be creating food packets for the Lakota Tribe of North Dakota. The Lakota Tribe live with this highest rate of poverty in the entire United States. Please join us from 10 am – 12 pm in the NHS cafeteria. All are welcome! Service hours are available. See Mrs. Rodriguez in room 103 to sign up or for more details.
  • Book Club will be meeting the NHS Library this Thursday, after to discuss This is Our Story. All books are due on Thursday. See Mrs. Plourd for details. All students are welcome.
  • February Schedule for Les Miz is now available. Please pick up today outside of the chorus room.
  • Today, The Boys Swim & Diving team will be having a home game against E.O. Smith/Tolland in the pool at 4:00 pm
  • Tomorrow, January 30th ,The Boys Ice Hockey team will be having a home game against Cheshire, at the Newington Ice Arena at 4:30 pm
    and The Wrestling team will be having a home game against Conard in the gym at 6:00 pm.
  • Thursday, January 31st ,The Girls Basketball team will have a home game against Bulkeley in the gym at 5:30 pm.
  • Saturday, February 2nd, The Boys Ice Hockey team will be having a home game against Northeastern at the Newington Ice Arena at 6:45 pm
  • Parks & Recreation is now accepting for Summer Counselor and Lifeguard positions. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Ennis in 200A for an application.
  • Would you like to play some games? Final projects from Semester 1 Game Development 1 Students are now being exhibited on the big screen in the Library Media Center. Come visit and see what you could make in Game Development 1. Like what you see? Seats are available in both period 3 and 8 classes for this semester!

  • Students interested in participating in the Hartford Hospital Summer VolunTeen program, there will be a mandatory information session on Monday, February 11th from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm at the hospital. Registration is required and limited to 100 people. Please see Ms. Arnett or Mrs. Ennis in 200A for more information.
