  • Attention Math Team: Please pick up a permission slip for our awards banquet from Mr. Miller ASAP. Also, don’t forget we are taking our yearbook photo today after school in room 226. Please see Mr. Miller with any questions.
  • Covenant Village, a retirement home in Cromwell, is holding a hiring open house this Saturday, March 16th from 10 am – 1 pm. They are hiring for wait staff and dishwashers and have flexible schedules to accommodate school and after school activities. Please see Mrs. Ennis in 200A for more information.
  • Don’t forget to buy your tickets for the Spring Production of the musical Les Miserables. Tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for students and Senior Citizens. Buy them at nhsdrama.booktix.com! If you have ordered your tickets at the box office, please remember to pick them up.
  • There will be a Key Club Meeting tomorrow in the cafeteria starting at 2:30 pm. We hope to see you there!
  • There will be a Junior Prom Committee meeting tomorrow in room 332.
  • Q1 and Q2 were such a big hit, we are ready to have more fun at our Quarter 3 Family of Learner Event. Come join us this Thursday, as we have more fun with dodge ball, basketball, ice cream, music and obstacle courses from the National Guard. Can’t wait!
  • Enterprise Builders in Newington will be holding a Construction Management Orientation on March 14th from 3 pm – 5 pm at their offices. Students interested in construction, construction management, project management, engineering, or architecture should attend to learn about the many aspects of a Construction Management Company. See Mrs. Ennis in 200A for details.
  • The NHS Library has 12 copies of this month’s book club title Salt to the Sea available for any interested students to borrow. Stop in to the library to get a copy! Book Club meets on March 28th to discuss the book. All are invited.'
  • Think you’ve got the skills to win a Large, Flat-Screen TV? Sign up for the 3 point shooting contest at the Ciara McDermott Basketball Classic being held on Friday, March 29th. The cost to enter is $5.00 per person. Please see Officer Kaufmann to sign up.
  • There will be a field trip to the State Capitol for students interested in manufacturing and engineering on Wednesday, April 24th from 9 am – 1 pm to connect students to careers in manufacturing. Local manufacturing companies will be present to showcase their products and also speak with students about careers, apprenticeships and internships. If you are interested in attending, please see Ms. Arnett or Mrs. Ennis in 200A.
