  • Attention All Academy Students: Please be sure to sell your tickets for the spaghetti dinner and return them to 200A as soon as possible. If you are unable to sell them, please return them to 200A today. Thank you.
  • Seniors! Western CT University’s annual on-site decision day is today. If you are interested in applying to Western and want an instant decision on your college acceptance, email your counselor for more information.
  • Boys Tennis Meeting will be held tomorrow after school in the library classroom.
  • Be sure to buy your tickets and join us for the Academy Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser Thursday, January 10th! A $10 ticket includes an all-you-can-eat buffet of spaghetti, meatballs, salad, rolls and dessert. Come have dinner before the band concert for an evening of dining and entertainment! See any Academy member or go to room 200A for tickets.
  • To all friends and members of the French Club. Our next meeting is Thursday after school in room 117. Please see Google Classroom for details.
  • To all students interested in participating in stage crew during the production of Les Miz, there will be a safety training meeting January 14th from 6 pm- 9 pm. See you there!
  • The January meeting for National English Honor Society will be on Wednesday, January 16th. Please send all peer tutoring hours to Mrs. DiBernardo in room 303.
  • The NHS Book Club welcomes 2019 with a twisted thriller entitled This is Our Story. Why not stop by the library and pick up a copy? Book discussion is optional and will be held on January 31st. Come read great books with us!
  • Travelers Insurance will be holding its annual Job Shadow Day on Friday, February 9th. Students will have the opportunity to shadow a number of careers including actuarial science, finance and accounting, operations, marketing, event planning and many others. If you are interested in attending, please see Mrs. Ennis in Room 200A.
  • Quick Reminder of our School Rules:
    o No Backpacks are allowed during the school day.
    o No Hats or Hoods are allowed during the school day.
    o All students must be in homeroom unless there is an emergency.
    o Refrain from running in the hallways.
