  • Attention Seniors: If you have a green dollar sign on your Power School screen, that means you owe money to the school and you have received your invoice during homeroom. All delinquencies must be paid prior to receiving your cap, gown and graduation tickets. Make your payments in the Main Office.
  • There will be a Diversity Club meeting on Monday, May 20th after school in room 318. All are welcome!
  • Come see this year’s senior one-act “Bad Auditions by Bad Actors” on Thursday, May 23rd at 7:30 pm! Tickets are $5 at the door.

If you have not paid for a book, but would like to purchase one, please see Mrs. Mannes in Stoddard House or Mrs. Narowski in room 321. There are a limited number of extra books and they will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.
  • UCONN Health will hold its next Biomedical Engineering Discovery Program on Saturday, June 1st from 9 am-2 pm for students aged 13 to 16. For this session, students will design and build prosthetic legs from common materials. If you are interested in attending, please see Mrs. Ennis in 200A or Ms. Freese in room 185 for registration details.
  • Student Council needs your help! Every day after school, we are working on revamping the central courtyard garden to reopen it to students. This is a MASSIVE undertaking. We need all hands on deck if we hope to open it by the end of the school year. Come after school, listen to some music, hang out with your friends and let’s get to work. Honor Society Hours and STUCO points will be given out!

    o No Backpacks are allowed during the school day.
    o No Hats or Hoods are allowed during the school day.
    o All students must be in homeroom unless there is an emergency.

  • Anyone interested in meeting with the Director of Food Services to provide input on school lunches is asked to please attend a meeting today at 2:30 pm in the Main Office Conference Room.
  • Class Officer elections are rapidly approaching. If you are interested in running for class office, please see Mr. Hartley for election paperwork. Paperwork must be completed and submitted by tomorrow.
  • Volunteers are needed at the Library this Sunday, May 19th from 7:30-11:30 am for their Annual 5K Race. Please see Mrs. Ennis in room 200A to sign up.

  • Senior Outing permission forms can be found outside Mrs. Fanelli’s room (225). All forms and money are due today.

  • Attention Seniors: Each year the English Department holds a contest to select a senior to serve as the class essayist and to read an original essay during graduation. Seniors are encouraged to write and submit an essay of approximately 400-500 words. Responses will be read and evaluated by a committee comprised of English teachers and students, and the contest winner will be announced by May 13th and recognized at the AM awards on May 21st. Packets are available in the Main Office, the house offices and in room 319. Essays are due no later than Monday May 6th at noon. Your essay must be shared as a Google Doc with Mr. Alaimo (balaimo@npsct.org)
