  • Last call to contribute to the National English Honor Society –Stuff-a-Cruiser donation box in room 303.
  • An Important Announcement for ALL Students. This week on Wednesday, December 12th and Thursday, December 13th, the NHS Library will be closed before school through periods 3 & 4. Mr Concannon’s homeroom will meet in the Café on these days. The library will be open in the morning for Mrs. Miller’s Shark Tank presenters and judges only. Please plan accordingly. The library will resume normal hours on Friday.
  • First Les Miserables Music Rehearsal tomorrow from 7 pm- 8:20 pm. All cast members should attend. Any Questions, See Mr. Clark.

  • The Sloppy Waffle is looking for student volunteers to assist customers during “Pictures with Santa” events this Saturday and next Saturday from 1:00 pm -2:30 pm. Please stop by room 200A if you would like to participate.

  • Reminder- Tomorrow we will engage in an addiction awareness presentation. We ask that if you have it, please wear purple and/or silver which are the awareness colors for opiate addiction and overdoes and it’s effects.
  • Volunteers are still needed for breakfast with Santa this Friday after school and Saturday morning. This is a fun event! Please see Mrs. Ennis if you are available to help. Thank you!

  • At 10 am today we will have a moment of silence to honor President George H. W. Bush, our 41st President.
    On November 30th, President Bush passed at the age of 94. With a long history of public service over the course of his live Bush served as a congressman in the House of Representatives, an ambassador to the United Nations, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, National Chairman of his Party and Vice President. Today we honor his legacy and thank him for his contributions to our country.

  • This message is for all students in grades 9-11 who are having their pictures retaken today. A photographer from Art Rich will be in the auditorium from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm to take these pictures. Please make sure that you go there during that time. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Mannes in Stoddard House or Mrs. Narowski in room 321.
  • Good Morning, This is a reminder for juniors attending the CCSU visit today. Please meet in front of the auditorium at 10:30 am and do not bring lunch with you as it will be provided. Remember that you are responsible for speaking with your teachers regarding any missed work.

You will learn about Biomedical Engineering and its application in health care, along with learning about blood pressure and engaging in a hands-on exploration of engineering by designing and constructing a heart valve facsimile. Please see Mrs. Ennis or Ms. Freese if you are interested in attending.
