  • Heavenly Hats are Back! Last year, NHS alone raised $1,360. This year, in conjunction with all the schools in our district, we are once again, raising money for this wonderful organization. What is Heavenly Hats? Heavenly Hats was founded in 2001, by a young man named Anthony Leanna, who was only 10 at the time. The Heavenly Hats Foundation collects and distributes brand new hats of all kinds to those heroes of all ages who lose their hair due to the treatment of cancer or the many other medical conditions which may cause hair loss. What do you need to do? It’s simple, on Wednesday and Thursday, homeroom reps will be collecting $1.00 during homeroom for anyone interested in donating to the worthy cause. You will get an “I donated to Heavenly Hats” sticker and on Friday, you can wear your favorite Hat. This is a special day and we get to wear hats all day. Make it crazy, make it fun, make it whatever you want! Show your favorite sports team, city, vacation, brand, or whatever you want.
